What is Midjourney?

Midjourney is one of the best-known AI image generators. You type a prompt on midjourney.com and get a set of four images, which you can vary, upscale or remix. It is especially loved for its distinctive, polished art style. The web Editor lets you repaint parts of an image, pan and zoom out, or edit with written instructions and reference images. Midjourney can also animate an image into a short video that you can extend in steps.

  • Text-to-image, four images per prompt
  • Web Editor with inpainting, pan and zoom out
